FAQ Interview Question 12
The
following questions you've already spoken to a good deal. Dan Tocchini,
the founder of ACCD, was a trainer for Lifespring, a secular training
organization not dissimilar to ACCD. Is ACCD a secular derivative of Lifespring
cloaked in religious language?
See above,
as we have compared ACCD to secular trainings like Lifespring. But let's
also use this question's technique on a different example. Moses was raised
by Pharaoh and grew up in the heart of Egypt. He became the leader of
the Jews. Is the Jewish religion, then, part of the Egyptian theology?
Is it derived from the Egyptian approach to God? That would be the same
thing as saying that the Hebrew religion must, therefore, be a branch
of the Egyptian mysticism. Moses was formed by God in Egypt
so why
couldn't Dan Tocchini be benefited by walking in the midst of some great
educators in a secular training company? Do we agree with all of their
ideas? No. Does any one agree with all of any one else's ideas? Is it
not possible that that God intended Dan Tocchini to be at Lifespring for
a time and that it contributed to his life and to the movement of the
kingdom and the gospel? This is what Dan himself believes.
